rev:text	The prices are high, even for the Vegas strip, but the food is excellent and the ambiance is beautiful. Plus, in my opinion, they deserve 5 stars simply for being the only dog friendly restaurant on the strip (that I know of). We came here for brunch on our last full day in Vegas, which happened to be Mothers Day. I was worried about crowds and we tried to come early, but we got a late start and it took longer to walk here than anticipated, and we didn't get here until almost 11. Fortunately the wait was less than 10 minutes. We ate on their beautiful outdoor patio with our dog, who was warmly welcomed by all their staff. They gave me a free mimosa (because of Mother's Day I think). They also had a platter of mini blueberry almond muffins in the restaurant to help yourself to (although calling them "mini muffins" conjures up an image that does them an injustice. They were Thomas Keller mini muffins and they were amazing). I had the American breakfast for $22 (eggs, bacon or sausage, pastry - I had pain au chocolat, coffee, juice, and toasted brioche). I don't eat pig so they let me have lyonnaise potatoes instead of the meat. It's expensive but it was a lot of food and it was all excellent. My husband had the croque Madame ($19) which came with a huge portion of French fries. He enjoyed it. They also serve epi bread with breakfast, although it is not as good as the bread at Bouchon in Yountville. They ended the meal by giving me macarons, again as a Mother's Day gift I think. I'm not a mom (except to my dog) but we were celebrating my birthday this weekend so it was nice to feel special. Note that the patio is completely shaded by the hotel in the morning but as we left around noon the sun was starting to hit it. They do have several big umbrellas though.
