| - My sister had gotten me a Groupon for an hour long facial 'Signature Facial' from Applied Aesthetics, after some difficulty scheduling the appointment, I spoke with Kelly, got a few questions answered and scheduled the appointment. Kelly called the day before my appointment to confirm and I showed up the next day ready to go. While I was in the waiting room Kelly came out and asked "you're here for your eyebrows?" and I quickly explained that I was there for a facial and had an appt. at 12:30, she then said "is your name Heather?, because I have you down to get your browns done", I again repeated that no, I was there for a facial and reminded her of the two conversations we had (when scheduling) regarding the facial before the appointment itself. Long story short, it was clear there had been a mistake, she scoffed at me when I repeated that she had me down for the wrong service and said " I called you yesterday and asked you if your appointment was for your eyebrows, I know I said brows", I told her that yes, she did call but when she called to confirm (after our initial two conversations where we discussed the facial) she did not mention anything about brows, and if she had I (obviously) would have corrected her on it to not have a mistake like this happen. She became rude and said I would have to come back another time, that she had someone else coming in at 1, and again repeated that this was my mistake.
Mistakes happen, I get it, but to insist it was my fault, repeatedly, was not only rude but highly unprofessional. If she is making these kinds of mistakes and so unwilling to house any accountability, I decided it was best to not do the facial at all. I ended up calling her about an hour after I had left the office, she again blamed me and had no interest in resolving the situation and I in no way regret letting her do the facial. Customer service skills are the backbone of any business, and she has none. Save your time and go somewhere else.
