New to Pittsburgh, and so I was delighted to find a high end restaurant. I made a Friday night reservation for two (with new girlfriend)-- i would not recommend arriving without a reservation. Upon arriving I was impressed with their service, and found the waiters very friendly and accommodative. Restaurant has an exterior patio, which I would see as an asset in warmer months. The interior section of the restaurant is a bit cosier ( ie closely stationed tables) than I prefer, but 8the restaurant has a romantic ambience. The other patrons were largely an old crowd (+60 yrs old) and dressed their age. I did not find young trendy people like myself dining there, but maybe it just happened to be that night. The food was delicious and the wine list quite robust. The staff also know their wines very well. Didn't have time for desert, but I'll return one day for their desert. For guys that want to impress a lady, this place will do it 97% of the time.
