  • Aiya... I don't agree with the first review. I've only been served oil at the Grounghog. (Translation: calamari, wings, onion rings.) I would say that maybe it was an off-day, but I've been here numerous times. No, not because I'm a sucker for punishment. My old work is down the street. Yes, I keep ordering the oil (deep fried is my friend of preference), and even for me this place is too oily. Even the decor looks oily. Bleh! Oh and don't try the ceasar salad. Don't know how you can screw up ceasar salad, but the Groundhog Pub did. This place isn't all bad. Alissa was right about the drinks. The ginger ale and alcohol is fantastic! And the poutine is pretty good too.
