I went tonight (06/03) for the first time ever and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The place was packed for the USA soccer game, but the level of service didn't make it seem that way. Servers were on point. If my glass was near empty, Jennifer had a full one coming. If I said I wanted another beer, she had it to me in less than 2 minutes. Food took a little bit of time, but that was because so many people were ordering at one time. Jennifer made sure to let us know that things were coming along and apologized for the wait because of the number of tickets. I never once felt like she had forgotten us. Even when I wanted to close out at the same time as half the restaurant, it was quick.
The food itself was very good. The mozzarella sticks were prepared perfectly. Actually some of the best I've had. Not too greasy and the cheese was perfect. The fish and chips were some of the best I've ever had - the fish, that is. They were very crispy, but not over cooked and not greasy. The chips (French fries) weren't my favorite as they were thicker than I prefer, but it didn't make me feel less appreciative about the dish.
I don't know what this place was like before the remodel, but I loved my first experience tonight. My party felt the same way and we'll be back.
