Well I wish I got to stay at this hotel because the pictures look nice but I was met with such poor customer service when trying to book my room that I am taking my money elsewhere.
I tried using their website to book a room which was very frustrating since a pop up window with a discount would freeze the website every time I hit book a room. After many tries I finally got to the proper screen, I put in my dates (March 24-26), all my credit card info and after I pressed Pay the website bugged out again and changed my dates to be the current date but processed the payment. I immediately called the front desk to tell them what happened and say the reservation was not for tonight and asked what was the best way for me to cancel it. The woman I spoke to said, no problem we can handle it but the charge isn't showing up yet on our end, call back in 30 minutes and we will cancel the reservation. So I did, no one answered and I left a voicemail.
Today I called to re-book the room on the proper dates and hopefully get that $38 charge credited to my new reservation. The man I spoke to was sassy off the bat and did not want to be on the phone with me. He gave me the rates for the dates I wanted and then I told him what happened. He said he could ask for a refund but there were no guarantees. I told him the front desk said it will be no problem but they stopped answering their phone that night. He implied that I was lying and there was no proof that I called there and I said yes there is I left a message on a machine at the front desk. He abruptly said, "there are no messages"...without even checking. Then said, "you could have handled this cancellation online." With a snarky your dumb tone. To which I said, "Well I called to ask the best way to cancel and your team said they would take care of it and they didn't." He continued to act frustrated and like I was a burden on his day so I ended the call with telling him I will take my money elsewhere.
