  • From 5 Stars to 2 Stars is a disappointment for me and I am not sure I will return. My last visit last month was slightly disappointing and I returned to be completely let down. Last month I had purchased a Yelp deal and asked if I could upgrade it for more time, no problem. I have a hip issue and reflexology and massage has been very beneficial to my recovery and maintenance. I asked the practitioner if she could work on my hips and not concentrate on my feet . No problem. When she was done and I went to pay I was told my massage was more because she worked on my hips. If she decided to charge more then I should have been told upfront. Today when I went to use my Groupon I was specifically told this would be foot only. She did massage my head and that was a plus. She was wearing plastic gloves during the massage. I had showered and shaved and arrived clean, and recently had a pedicure so I was not dirty... The foot massage was nice, however if it was a foot massage only, why did it state on Groupon this included a private room? I came with a friend so having the private room was not necessary. When we were checking I took out my punch card and was told this is only good for one hour massages. My friend has several cards that she was trying to get them consolidated to one card, then was told the same thing, her massage today did not count for a punch. The girls were apologetic and explained these were new rules. Sorry Royal Foot Spa, I loved your place but I feel we were taken advantage of, not once, but twice. There was no receptionist to take care of the incoming customers and my massage time was used to wait on incoming clients.
