  • This is the most dis-compassionate company I have ever dealt with in my life. In December, my husband passed away suddenly from a heart attack. He was leasing a car from Jim Peplinski for company business at the time. I informed them of his passing immediately and requested they come and take the car back which they did. They then sold the car for $9500 at auction. They sued me for the balance of the lease payments owed on the lease despite the fact they got the car back, sold it and recouped their money. On speaking to their lawyer and telling her how upset I was that the lease company was still trying to get more money out of a dead man, she said "Don't take it personally. We're not suing you. We're suing the estate." As his surviving spouse, who on earth do they think the estate is?? No one I know has ever heard of anything so outrageous. As it turns out, I still have to pay them an additional $6000. How fair is this? Oh, on top of this, Peplinski's care so much about what they are putting my family through with the law suit, that they continue to send flyers and notices to the house advising us the lease is almost up and it's time to renew. As no one knows what life is going to bring, or take, I would highly recommend you avoid any contact with this company as they really don't care at all what life hands you as long as they get all their cash and more.
