I tried to explain that my left leg and low back were very tender from a surgery last December. She just said "lay down", like she knew my body better than I do. The times she focused on my left leg and caused me pain, which was made obvious by me tensing up and my whole body shaking, like convulsing, you'd think that would be a good signal for her to back off. NOPE...she kept at it and sometimes pushing and pulling harder. Part of me was like I need to push through, and part of me was like um no....this shouldn't hurt bad. There were a lot of times where there was longer than usual "breaks" between massage time, but for $39 an hour it makes some sense. The shop was quiet and peaceful, so it did have a relaxing appeal. All in all it was pretty good and I'd try again, but make sure the person working on me knows very well to take it easy on my low back and left leg (Disc Fusion) surgery.
