An item crossed off my life list (aka bucket list but who really wants to think about dying)! I love gadgets and electronics. Every year I follow all the tech blogs religiously to see the latest that is happening at CES. CES sets the stage for the year in the electronics world. It is one of the largest shows ever. 160,000 of your closest friends in the Sin City aka Las Vegas.
For the 2015 show I was lucky enough to get assigned this event with my company. I'd been asking for a couple years. Being at CES for work away from the convention center did not make it easy to get over to the LVCC. Luckily there was a new area in the Sands Expo so I never felt like I wasn't apart of the action. The new area in the Sands Expo was dedicated to health and fitness and the wearable devices.
I did manage to sneak away on the last day and check things out at the LVCC. I had mapped out a plan to visit using the app so I knew exactly where I needed to go. I was glad I went on the last day as it was not crowded and easy to make my way around. I was very impressed with what I saw and the various products. After visiting the Samsung booth this is also when I decided to take the plunge and purchase the Galaxy Note Edge phone (Best phone I've owned thus far!).
Overall I had a great CES experience. In the future I think I'd much rather not have to be there for work so I can really take everything in.
