I was actually stupid-impressed by this place. I didn't have much in terms of expectations, but things went incredibly well here from the food perspective. Our waiter was also incredibly cool, and we definitely enjoyed the overall experience. The food was American-Italian as all get out, and among some of the best for that style you can expect to get.
However; the things that drop the rating down are more about the overall experience. The starters were okay (meatballs), and the whole place/atmosphere overall was a bit iffy. The chairs are your standard fare for restaurants like this, and seemed really flimsy and were uncomfortable. The drink list felt a little lacking, and I feel like the suggested drinks were more a marketing speech more than a genuine recommendation.
Negatives aside; dat veal parm was just fantastic. Hardly can think of another that I like more, it definitely stands there near the top of some of the best I've had of that particular dish. Want more....
