  • My experience purchasing my new 2015 Jeep Wrangler was all in all good at Chapman. My review is specifically based on the time I spent with my actual sales reps. I had two. I meet Craige and Sonny when I came in to test drive a Jeep Wrangler Model I saw on-line. It was a manual and it was so new they had not even taken it off the transit trailer yet. So I drove a similar model the first day. I told them I'd be back later that night and gave them my cell info. (which I was entirely hesitant to do,) but they didn't hound or harass me to come back or blow up my phone at all. I actually contacted them to set up a test drive the vehicle I wanted, and since it was not on the lot, we set up a time to meet, and Craige and Sonny arranged for it to be at the dealership the following day. After taking the 2nd test drive, in the actual Jeep I had been looking at on-line, we started negotiations. I had done a lot of research on this vehicle and feel like I was treated as a respected customer vs. my normal treatment, blonde female who doesn't know what she is talking about. I definitely had a good time working with Craige, who was not pushy, very funny and kept things light. Using my name when talking to me as opposed to failing to remember my name. He also offered a great deal of comic relief to break up the mundane waiting time in between finalizing all the docs. Craige was my actual sales associate, but his partner Sonny also helped with the questions Craige didn't have absolute answers to. Sonny was very calm, cool and collected, again, not high pressured. Craige and Sonny both offered their cell #'s so I could text them with questions and since I had to go back to the dealership to fine tune a few items in my new Jeep. They would always touch base with me and make sure our appt. times were good to go. If one wasn't available the other was there to help me. I felt like they hadn't just sold me a new car and the deal was done; They actually followed up to make sure everything was in good working order and I was happy with everything. They told me to come by any time with my questions or concerns. They were both attentive and helpful. They worked hard to answer my questions and help me get in to the Jeep of my dreams. They work as a great team together! Days later, after noticing I had not received the free gift my model came with, I simply texted Sonny and Craige and asked if I could come and get it. Once they had the gift ready for me, they texted me, I swung by to pick it up, had a few more questions that they cleared up and I was on my way. No waiting around, no gimmicks, like I mentioned above they hadn't just made the sale and were done with me. The manager remembered me!! Jim saw me in the lobby picking up my gift and said hello to me. I wasn't robotically asked if "had I been helped yet?" by him. He genuinely knew who I was. A small hello, how are you? goes a long way these days. Especially since it had been approx 2 weeks after buying my Jeep that we saw each other. The only reason for not all 5 stars would be that I could have negotiated with Jim (sales closer/ manager) slightly better, but out of the eagerness to buy my dream Jeep, I think I let them get the best of me. Not taken advantage of, becasue I am still happy with the deal I got. There's not a ton of wiggle worm with Jeep Wranglers since they hold their value so well. I knew that going in to the negotiations. So they all were just doing their job. Jim threw in a year of free maintenance and gave me his card if I had any issues. Sonny and Craige told me that so many people don't utilize the free stuff Jim offers his Chapman customers. They told me to come in and see them and they will take care of me. Even car washes if I needed them. I will utilize them too! To the other reviewers who gave bad reviews, I have to say to them, I have been in way worse dealerships, with very high pressured sales people, had to walk out on several negotiations because of the high pressure sales tactics and pricing was so ridiculous and so far off. I also did my homework on Chapman using Yelp and other review sites to make sure I was purchasing from a Jeep dealership I could trust in the long run. Chapman had the best reviews of all the valley stores. I don't think many people find buying a new vehicle a great experience overall. So to find a car dealership with 5 stars period, is hard to come by. I didn't go to Chapman to review them and give 1 star on their cold coffee in the waiting room, but to each their own. My total experience was great, friendly sales team, and everyone was helpful- All in all I felt like everything worked out and I would recommend my guys, Craige and Sonny, to anyone I knew in the market. Tip: If you are in the market to buy a new vehicle go on a rainy day to get extra special attention and a faster car buying experience! I Love my 2015 Jeep Willy from Chapman Chrysler- Jeep :D
