I was digging through some of my old boxes in the house when I found my father's watch from school. Full of sentimental value and somehow still functional, but really banged up after a couple of moves. I looked for a place nearby that could maybe tidy it up so he could wear it to work again as a gift - which led me here.
Brought it in on a Wednesday. It's pretty tiny and looks more like an office, but definitely feels like a family business. We discussed some of our options in depth, including the finish on the polishing and what we needed to do. Our initial estimate was Wednesday, but since I had to travel next week they promised to work over the weekend and try to finish it Monday/Tuesday for me.
So I was surprised when I got the call on Friday that it was done! They actually took some before and after pics and it was night and day. The total for the job came out to $125, but I couldn't put a price. The look on my dad's face when I gave him the watch made it all worth it - he didn't even remember it looking that nice when he first bought it!
I can't vouch for jewelry, but I would easily come back here next time I need work done on my watches.
