I was in the Honda of Champaign shop on Saturday 6/16. We were driving home to Wisconsin from Florida when our 2013 Honda Pilot decided to freak out and turn on a bunch of code/error dash lights. Fortunately their dealership happened to be about 3 miles away from where we pulled off the interstate. I was met by Chris Rogers who listened attentively, asked the right questions and said he'd see what your dealership could do to help. As we hung out in the waiting area, Chris would stop out on a regular basis to see how me, my wife and our daughters were doing, and give us an update on the Pilot. A couple hours after we pulled in, Chris and Travis Duncan (shop foreman) had diagnosed what was wrong with the Pilot and fixed it. We hit the road and were happy to sleep in our own beds that night for the first time in over a week. We could not have done that without Chris, Travis and their team in Champaign. The service that Chris and Travis demonstrated was exceptional. We obviously had no appointment but they squeezed us into their schedule and made it happen. We're big fans of our dealer in Madison, Wilde, and are happy that great service is not just a Wilde thing but a Honda thing overall. Please give Chris and Travis big fat raises and a paid day off.
