We had a great experience at Toasted. It was happy hour and dinner for 8 of us. The owner waited on us and she was fantastic. It always makes you feel welcome when the owner really appreciates your business and she sincerely was happy that we were there. I would go back for that reason alone.
The food was fun and interesting and different. That also made for a great experience. We tried the fried cheese curds, homemade potato chips and asparagus soup to start. All delicious. I had the Trailer Park - a grilled cheese sandwich with chili on it coated in crushed Frito chips and then deep fried. How could that be bad? It wasn't. I also sampled a couple of others and they were equally tasty. But the best was the peanut butter desert. It was amazing.
It just opened up not long ago, but they seemed to have their act together. I will go back.
