  • Unenjoyable, outdated, freezing cold, unsanitary. A few words that come to mind after my most recent experience at this "spa." It speaks volumes when you're told by the staff that the whirlpool is closed "for health reasons." That was our introduction to our "spa teaser" and it just went downhill from there. The massages (x 2! Both me and my mom share the same opinion) were less than desirable in a freezing cold environment with disgusting smelling "unscented" massage lotion that probably has been sitting on the shelf since the last time this place was renovated....which, if you've been there, you'd know that it's been quite some time since this place saw any esthetic attention. Both my mom and I couldn't wait for our "spa torture" session to be completed and immediately left after our first of three spa services, forfeiting the rest of our package. We were both anxious to get home to shower and rid ourselves of the unsanitary feeling you have when you leave this place. I'm sure this place was spectacular in their hey-day (being able to demand the luxurious prices that they charge) but it seems that this place is no longer "Mario's" priority and therefore the establishment and the quality of services has suffered tremendously. There are many lovely spa establishments in the greater Cleveland area that your money would be better spent and the quality would be remarkably better.
