| - There's nowhere else I wanted to go to celebrate my bachelorette party. My best friend attempted to make reservations by phone and email for 2 months prior to the date of my party. No one answered the phone (which is fine since sometimes they weren't open) or returned calls or emails. She's from out of town, so she couldn't go in person to confirm. Two days before my party, she came to town and we headed there in person to confirm a reservation. We were told it would be a $50 charge, which my friend gladly paid. However, she did ask several times if it was guaranteed that we would have this reservation, and we informed them that we would be arriving around 9:00. We were told it wouldn't be a problem and were promised a table.
On Saturday night, we arrived at 9:10PM and were informed that our reservation had been given away at 9:00 due to their policy. At no point were we told this previously. It wouldn't be a big deal, as there were other open tables on higher levels; however, when she asked for a refund for her "guarantee" payment, they refused to give her one. Not only did we lose the table, but we also lost the money. This was horrible customer service bc at no point were we told that if we didn't arrive by 9:00 we would lose the table. The staff member who was "helping" us, was cocky and laughing through the whole thing. I'm sorry, I don't think that scamming us out of $50 is funny.
