| - This bank had been just okay. However with the recent issue of our local Schucks having been hacked and allowing virtually everyone in towns debit cards to be compromised, and though I appreciate them looking out for my accounts security, this bank handled the situation in an absolutely heinous manner. My account had had no fraudulent activity, however the bank called me on a Thursday to announce that my card would be locked on Friday, and that I would not receive a new one for seven to ten business days. I talked to the supervisor (who I believe is at their main branch in Mattoon) and asked that they please not lock my card until I had the new one, as bills would bounce, and I have no free time during their mostly worthless for working folks open hours to even get cash. The woman was in a word *rude*. She did agree not to lock the card, but she sadly lied just to get me off the phone and they locked it anyway. Now online bills that can only be payed by card are bouncing, and I have no access to my money, no ATM, iTunes, Amazon, Netflix, etc. and am still waiting for a new card over a week later. This bank sucks. I will move all of my money at the earliest convenience. They should not lock a card that has had no fraudulent activity until the account holder had a new card in hand.
