  • Holy horrible. I came to Fez last night at 11pm with high hopes after reading so many 4-star and 5-star reviews, and this place was AWFUL. The food is inedible and the service is atrocious. The good: the sweet potato fries are good cuz they're covered in cinnamon sugar The bad: the rosemary fries were like McDonalds fries that have been sitting out for a couple hours: cold, mushy, and bland. The ugly: our snooty, moody server couldn't have been more perturbed that we interrupted him from hanging out with his friends to get up and take our order. He was beyond RUDE, inattentive, and impossible to get service from even though we were one of his two patrons! As a former server at a better restaurant, I have pretty low standards of service, but this was despicable and offensive. The revolting: nothing could be more offensive than the Shrimp Kisra dish we ordered: it is one of the most DISGUSTING plates a restaurant has ever attempted to serve me: the "lobster sauce" was a flavorless orange goo, the "sautéed shrimp" were nothing more than defrosted mini frozen shrimp (they came out white, not an ounce of pink on them!), and the spinach was literally spoiled and slimy. I kid you not yelpers, I actually gagged after I took my first bite. It reminded me of that Gordon Ramsey show "Kitchen Nightmares". See the picture I uploaded for proof! I was going to give Fez two stars because the Rosemary Chicken Sandwich we ordered to replace the Kisra was edible, but after both my boyfriend and I got food poisoning from the food last night, I couldn't hold back. Don't go here!!! You need late night food? Hit up Postino or Delux, the food is never frozen or spoiled at those places.
