There is nothing like a timeshare to rev up your vacation expectations and this vacation lived up to mine! This facility is a great spot for family or couples extended holidays! Some groups had assembled their entire family groups here for the summer fun! Very nicely designed for peace and quiet, the villas' great design makes them rise above the condominium or apartment feeling that sometimes emerges. They are spotlessly clean and have perfect air conditioning for the Phoenix heat (108 while we were there). The decor shows the influence of Frank Lloyd Wright, whose Taliesin West architecture school is in Phoenix. His love of horizontal lines and earthy stack stone with Asian influenced furniture makes the minimal modernism attractive with the addition of some rustic touches. The full kitchen with black granite counters was very slick and elegant. The coffee maker was a bit of a mystery at first, but once I read the directions, it was easy to master. (no carafe)
There are two pools, one is just for adults with a big water feature that pours into the pool (and you can use to massage your neck). It is delectable to float in the pool, where some floats are provided, like noodles. Attentive staff circulates with cold water, or to take any food orders. The only possible negative is that the parking spaces are a bit tight, with no ramps at the corners for luggage. My ecological conscience would also like to see the overhead shade on the parking used for solar.
Friendly concierge gave us many guide books and tips for seeing the sights, and our trip was memorable and pleasant!
