The beer garden at Capital Brewery is a great place to hang out with family and friends. They host lots of events throughout the year. I especially love the Burger and Brews fundraiser event for REAP Food Group and their Dogtoberfest. The have a huge covered patio area with band stand. Lots of area to dance if the music moves you after a few tasty beverages. They don't have food service, so feel free to bring in a picnic meal or a pizza to munch on while sampling the variety of beers offered. The prices are $5-6 pint and most times there is not a cover charge for the music. The seating is very casual and community based. It provides a pleasant atmosphere to meet new people that you are sharing the picnic table with. They have a wide variety of beers available; pilsner, hoppy ales, stout, etc. They do offer tours of the brewery with beer tasting at the end. They have an inside bar as well. Good to have this space when the Wisconsin weather is not favorable. The one drawback to this place is the parking. During any event, you can find yourself blocks away to street park. Not that great for those that require accessibility parking options. I was happy to see that there is a ramp into the brewery.
