  • Fun day at the zoo. Bringing a whole family can be expensive though. As is the case whenever you visit, some animals are hiding, some are in their shelters, so you might not see them all. I found that my favourites were not the big popular ones such as the elephants, lions, pandas, etc, but I liked the bats, meerkrats, penguins, jelly fish. I wish they had more bugs/spiders though. They really need to link the entire park together. Some areas are a dead end, then you have to backtrack, and you have to wonder if it's worth the jaunt - such as the Canadian Domain and the Aztec ruins. Similarly with some of the pavilions they need to have one trail that takes you through the entire space. I feel I missed some parts because the paths go off in all directions. They should have a seating in underground area of the penguin area so you can sit and watch them swim around - this is how they have done it in Montreal. Overall, a great day, but not sure when I will come back again.
