  • I went to Donna for eyebrow threading for several months. She did an okay job but over time I thought my eyebrows were becoming too thin and sought out a new place that was more in line with my expectations. I agree with other reviewers who say this is not a "salon friendly" experience. Donna always made me feel a bit uncomfortable. For example, she never consulted me about the look I was seeking; would often talk with other clients while she was threading my eyebrows (which made me worried that she was not concentrating on the task at hand); and would put threads in her mouth (which did not seem clean). Her humor is also not for everyone. For instance, the first time I asked to use the restroom, she told me that she did not have one and that she wore diapers. I personally thought her joke was a bit strange and was glad when she finally directed me to the restroom. I'm not sure what she charges now, but I paid around $9 when I went. Scheduling is convenient and Donna never had trouble fitting me in for a walk-in appointment. Finally, her studio can be a bit hard to find, and parking can be difficult (as the spots get filled up by patrons at the Vig).
