| - This review is long overdue!
I have known Dr. Newland and his staff for over 15 years. He was the vet for my sister's dogs years ago, and I had accompanied her many times to Adobe. When dogs joined our family, there was no question about who would take care of our pets.
Dr.Newland is our regular doctor, but we have seen Dr. Davis numerous times and we are just as happy with him. They both are very knowledgeable and will spend the time necessary to explain treatment and care. They follow up in phone calls, even after hours and on weekends. They spend so much time with me and my pets, I always leave feeling like my dogs are number one on their list. However after reading the reviews, it is apparent Adobe has a way of making everyone feel that way. Their staff is excellent, and everyone is very compassionate and passionate about their jobs.
We recently lost our 13 year old Golden Retriever Kodie, in February 2015. It happened so quickly, in just over a week. Dr. Newland was so thorough in his workup and care. She was diagnosed with an aggressive lymphoma, and at 13 I knew treatment was not going to be the answer. When the time came to make that heart wrenching decision to let Kodster go, Dr. Newland and his staff were there for us, and made a difficult situation easier. I had never gone through this before, but I didn't have to do anything. Adobe was there every step of the way. They cried along with us, and I know in her final moments, Kodie felt so much love in that room. I cannot thank them enough for making that difficult time more bearable.
We are so blessed to have Adobe Animal Hospital to care for our pets. I now live in Ahwatukee, and will never change my care. The 65 mile round trip drive is worth it! My sister, who now lives in Philadelphia, has switched vets numerous times, looking for that place as special as Adobe Animal Hospital. She will be looking for a long time!
