rev:text	They pick you up in a Humvee! That's how you kick off your visit to Battlefield Vegas if you're staying on the Strip or downtown. What a great intro to one of the most advanced shooting ranges in the world. The photos on here don't do it any justice. I figured I would show up to a typical firing range. You know, a garage-looking building with a few shooting lines indoors or out. But when the Humvee let us out, we found ourselves in the middle of a serious military compound, complete with helicopters, tanks, and many other military vehicles. You can rent more shooting packages here than you can count, starting with hand guns all the way up to powerful automatic weapons (both from history and the modern era). And if you're a bigger spender than I, you can demolish a car with their operational tank! You will notice the vehicle victims upon entering the compound. Apparently some people have really had some fun with that. Every shooter gets a quick, down & dirty, safety briefing along with a personal firearms instructor the entire time you're on the range. So if you're worried about shooting and are not completely comfortable, don't worry. They got you covered. Get there early as wait times can be long. There are only so many firing lines and they do the best they can, but may want to bring a book. We arrived at 9:15 am and waited about 45 minutes. This place is popular for a reason. Put this on your list of "must do" if you're in Vegas. You won't regret it.
