| - I recently moved to Henderson. It was time for my annual woman exam and I had to find a physician. I chose Dr. Casas based on another review site taking into consideration the positive and negative reviews. The front office staff is ok. I did not receive a reminder call which I find odd since most dr.s from most medical, dental and vision call with a reminder the day before. I arrived at my appointment 30 minutes early. I had to fill out an online patient history at their office which took 20 minutes (I read very fast, so if you read on the slower side allow more time). I was not called in to the exam room for almost 50 minutes from my scheduled appointment. Its OB/GYN and this can happen. The nurse took my blood pressure and gave me a gown. Dr. Casas came in about 10 minutes later. He shook my hand, told me to lay back and gave me a breast exam, pap and internal exam- all in less than 3 minutes (wish I had a timer--it was like the Indy 500). He said all seems fine, told the nurse to give me a scrip for a mammogram (I'm over 40) and said to get my blood drawn. He left..this is all in 5 minutes. He never asked ANYTHING about me, my history or if I had questions.
I am pretty easy going and healthy. I normally do not do reviews. But, Henderson has a lot of new people. HOWEVER, I am EXTREMELY disappointed at the lack of professionalism and care of this provider. In all my years of going to the OB/GYN for over 20 years, I also bled after the pap (This can happen from intense scrapping of cervix from pap)--never, ever happened with anyone but him. I won't call or go back to him either. If he had taken the time to read my medical history AND ask me directly about my health, it would prove he is a "real" dr. I am sure my insurance was billed at a high rate and I wish he could get maybe a dime for his services.
I left totally stunned and really ticked about the treatment I received.
