| - Last week we stopped in for an oil change on our Chevrolet Cruze, we were quoted a price and told it would take about 20 minutes to complete. About an hour later, we paid our bill, which was higher than they had quoted us (we did not complain about this). We drove about eight miles when the check engine light came on. I pulled over checked my gauges (They had not reset the oil life percentage, and I saw that the tire air pressure that they adjusted was off on 3 of the 4 tires), Since I could not see the problem we stopped at the Chevrolet dealer on Bell just West of the 101 loop, the technician opened the hood and immediately put his hand on the oil fill sprout and showed me that it was not installed properly. Jiffy lube was called before we stopped at the Chevrolet dealer and was no help. After we found the problem at the Chevrolet dealer, they fixed the problem, reset the check engine light, reset the oil life percentage and adjusted the air in our tires. Jiffy Lubes only comment was that bubble gum had gotten on the air hose causing the tire pressure problem.
We were not looking for the cheapest price, we asked how long it would take for this service, they were not busy so the time they told us seemed reasonable. The service we received was pitiful.
For those that like this facilities service, I am happy for you. I would suggest not criticizing others that did not have a good experience. I have backup for everything, I have written on this review. Our experience wasn't good, and we will not return
