  • I have just started staying here after many years loyalty to the Marriot Courtyard on Yonge/College and also The Royal York. Both of those hotels were OK for a business traveler but the HGI, downtown Toronto beats them both. This hotels is very new and you can tell. The rooms are great with huge flatscreens, nice new bathrooms, free wifi in room, good work desk, microwave, fridge and of course a coffee maker. The staff are super friendly, breakfast is excellent every morning it's only a block from a Shoppers and a Starbucks. For eating out in the evening you are 5-10 minutes walk from all the good restaurants on Queen street including my favorite the Queen Mother cafe! I can't stay enough good things about this hotel. Hilton now has my loyalty, i am an honors member and will be here everytime I am in Toronto!
