Not really a YAY or a NAY... Just where you go to get your nails and lashes did if you made connection with 1 person. I've been coming for a few years with the BFF Alice who left a 5 star review in 2015. So theoretically I should be a huge fan lol..
Appointment time is kind of like doctors office... Show up and wait is the best way I can describe it... I once left after waiting 20 minutes into my appointment for nails.. To avoid that gotta do the talk with to Kazuyo (owner) or David (manager)... If they remember you next time they will try to avoid it.
The second thing that irks me a little every time is their guest tracking system... THEY DON'T HAVE ONE. So even though everyone at at the store know me by name and know I won't cancel my appointments they still insist on taking my phone number EVERY TIME... I shouldn't have to... Maybe it's me setting my expectations too high.. Maybe I'm too used to Candice at Square Salon or Joyce at Privy Skincare or Michelle at Therapie Massage making me feel super special. (A little shout out to great customer service lol)
My lash artist's name is Nhung (pronounced Nu), look no further, she's who you'd want to get your lashes done. I met her a year ago and haven't gone to anyone else. Nu is able to give you good initial consultation on how long/short the lashes would work best for you. Never have my eyes felt uncomfortable under her care, and believe me when I say I've had my eyes burnt pretty bad once.. She who shall not be named.. I will not go back to her... Nu also has a bright personality. I'm just constantly laughing during our sessions.
I also used to get my nails designed there. Hannah and Kayo are the only "designers" at the shop. Everyone else just does pretty standard mani/pedis. If you book Hannah she will do the whole set and design your nails pretty nicely. Kayo is is super buzy all the time.. So if you book her she might ask someone else to give you manicure and finish up the designs herself if you don't mind. If you do, just specifically booked her and remind her, simple as that. They do Japanese influenced nail design that are super cute. They also have tons of nail stickers for you to chose from.
A nice touch is their complimentary beverage cooler and a little snack tray for customers. It's definitely needed for where vegas is heading in the next few months.
