| - I've quickly learned that finding a garage door service is like hiring a pool service company. A lot of people SAY they fix garage doors but few are good at it or reliable.
I found this company in the Clipper Magazine. They also use phone numbers (480) 359-1079 and (623) 688-5545. I simply wanted them to install a new Chamberlin belt-drive wireless opener which I had already purchased. They quoted me a good price and said someone would be out in 2 hours. 15 minutes later, another person called and said the first person misspoke and no one would be available until the next day. No problem.
The next day, Nick arrived. He couldn't have been nicer. Great personality. Said it wouldn't be difficult at all. Once we got into it, we realized the rail was too long and I needed an 8ft rail. No problem. He said they could install it the next day, Saturday. 30-minutes later, someone called and said they would be out at 8am to install the opener. Fabulous.
8am arrives, nothing. 8:15am, nothing. 8:30am, nothing. I called the company and they said, let me check. 5 minutes on hold, another person comes on the line and says, "Yah.... ummm..... we don't have enough technicians, so we're not going to be able to be there this AM." I asked them about later in the day? They said, "Yah... ummm..... probably not."
Bottom line: they weren't going to call and say no one was coming, I'd still be sitting here waiting. Plus, it was clear they decided they didn't want to install a unit that they didn't sell and considerably mark-up.
With the exception of Nick, this company is not good or reliable.
