We were eager to go to XS because they were advertising one of my favorite artists as performing there, NERO. Little did I know at the time, it is common for nightclubs to advertise and then not deliver. We paid $135 in cover charges just to get in to the place. NERO never came on stage and it was not clearly indicated that the performance was only a DJ set. This is considered false advertising. The interior decor was mediocre, and a serious lack of seating and floor space for dancing; the layout was all wrong. The worst part about the atmosphere was the crowd of people this sort of club attracts, which I assume is not uncommon for Vegas. The place was covered in "bros"; for more information, see Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=things+bros+say
I bought my friends a round of drinks, 2 shots of Jameson and a well-cocktail. The bill came out to be $54. For 3 drinks, that is one of the most ridiculous markups I have ever experienced. Without thinking and already being on my last nerve, I signed the bill and left. We will never return to XS, there is nothing excess about it except the cost and number of bros.
