Worst experience ever!!!! Multiple appointments set and they could NOT get it right! They bring the wrong part and then blame us, saying we refused it (technician refused it and put that in their notes) The technician actually calls their offiice in front of us and tells them it is the wrong ice maker! (this is the installer/delivery for Home Depot) I called back Barlow's, spoke with someone in scheduling and said they'll have the correct ice maker and call that afternoon for the appointment time. No call back that afternoon....no call the next day....that evening technician shows up and calls when we are not there. Rescheduled appointment and next technician calls today and says he can come out to reverse the door but does not have the ice maker because we refused it. Called back Barlows and asked to speak with manager but they would not come to the phone. The employee on the phone said that I will have to go back to Home Depot and reorder another ice maker because I refused it. Once again I explained that THEIR TECHNICIAN refused it....not us!!! she said that I will still need to go back to Home Depot and re order it. Called back later and actually got a manager and they are looking in the warehouse for a possible replacement because the other ice maker was sent back because "we refused it" (I cant win here!)
Called HD manager to get some help and they are working on it. Later spoke with HD manager (no call back from manager at Barlow's) and he confirmed that they did not even have a replacement that would work.
Update 4/17/17: I ended up having HD order another ice maker and will just install it myself. HD was helpful, refunded charges for the installation and are as frustrated with Barlows as most people are. My suggestion is to stay clear of appliance related installs using Barlows.
