  • I am a "frequent" car buyer. A fetish I wish I could kick, but I don't think that is ever going to happen. I am probably in a dealership for me or my spouse every 18-24 months. Most of my deals are done before I even stop foot into the dealership and I do my research in advance, communicate what I am looking for, trade information, and numbers in advance. I don't have time to waste and if a salesman is efficient, honest, and can work with me I usually drive in just to sign the paperwork and drive away. I had been to 2 other Ford dealerships with my husband and couldn't stand the back and forth. Salesman gets info from you, goes to talk to his boss, comes back and this this one for an hour. Just bring the darn manager to me or tell me where his office is because I don't have time for the wizard of oz non-sense. In the case with Berge Ford our salesman, Cody Garbis, was GREAT. He was efficient, responded to emails or texts messages quickly, took the info I sent and had all the numbers back to me in an hour. He even offered to bring the vehicle to me if I didn't have time to come to the dealership. They only had one F250 Diesel for us to choose from, but it had everything we needed. We went to look at it, drove it, signed the paperwork, and were out of there in an hour. They had those guys running because he had to be at soccer and didn't have time to waste. We live in the SE valley so we will have to see how service works out for us, but I was very happy with the staff (our NJ, NY, JETS fan) brothers who came to talk to us while we waited and reminisce about the pizza miss living here in AZ. I wish they had more vehicles in-stock, but it is what it is and with a week under our belt we are happy with our purchase. Cody - thanks for getting us hooked up in time for boating season! For those needing to tow, take our advise -- the Dodge Ram just can't do the job. I am sure the new F250 is going to tow our toys with ease and we are happy to be back with a Ford in the garage (like it had been for the previous 20 years).
