Boy, I love this place. It's hard to find really unusually awesome chocolates that take your senses to another place and that's not some pretentious thing to say but at the same time, yeah it sounds pretentious but it's the truth! Did I mention I'm eating Vosges right now and that's what's sending me on this really euphoric daze of nonsensical typing? It's just that damn good.
I was in Vegas with a birthday boy and the one thing I had to do in Vegas was visit Vosges since the closest I've been to one in the past 3 years was the limited inventory O' Hare kiosk which simply does not compare to the actual stores in Chicago or Vegas for that matter. The clean white walls, bright lights and purple furniture make it a trippy and fun place to peruse the many different types of chocolates.
You can make gift packages, purple box sets, pick out truffles, and try samples. They've got such unusual combinations that sound crazy at first but if you really take the time to savor, it makes sense.
Some suggestions for an easy transitions from Hersheys to Vosges:
-Barcelona Bar
-Matcha Bar
-Giaduja Bar
-Woolloomoolloo Bar
-Peanut Butter Bon Bon Bar
But you need to try the Mo's Bacon Bar or the Flying Pig if you don't want a huge chocolate bar but once you try it, you'll want to eat the whole bar.
Just don't pull a faux pas like my birthday boy and close your damn eyes while trying out the peanut butter chocolate sample. The poor salesgirl did her best to stifle her laughter when looking at him. It's Haut-Chocolate but it's not a goddman Opus One people so ask lots of questions and remember, it's just chocolate.
