  • I drove all the way from The Strip in anticipation of authentic French bread. The kind one would find in a French restaurant or say, France. I purchased several long baguettes and some mini baguettes. What a disappointment. The bread is what I call 'Americanized French.' If you are expecting dense, chewy and fresh (unless purchased in the morning) don't bother. Manon is what Lender's is to an authentic bagel. That there are so many positive reviews is testament to the 'Pizza Hut is the BEST pizza in Las Vegas!' claims. The baguettes -purchased mid-afternoon - went completely stale by 5 pm. The ends were rock hard. I immediately called the establishment and was told "no returns for stale bread." If you want authentic, artisanal bread you can do much better. If you want 'French-inspired' bread then Manon is serviceable. Be forewarned, Manon does not issue refunds for any reason. Even for stale bread.
