  • I think this is the closest thrift store to the Strip and I always try to check out at least one thrift when I am traveling, to get an idea of local surface culture. (I admit it, in Vegas I was looking for blingy vintage ashtrays, showgirl costumes, and casino visor hats, preferably emblazoned with names from my grandmother's era - none of that, sadly.) This is a medium sized thrift situated in a strip mall. Well-organized, with some books and kitchen wares to the left, a little bit of furniture, mens' and childrens' clothing in the middle and womens' clothing to the right. Clothing is organized by type, size and color. I found very little that was vintage or high end, but pricing was average and it was fun to prowl. It's okay - probably not worth the trip out there if you are a tourist unless you also want some ramen while you're in the neighborhood or you are just that fascinated by randomness but I would drop in occasionally if I were a local. Mondays are great deal days it seems - blue tagged items were $1 and all had been pulled out from the regular racks and moved to separate racks along the perimeter of the store, plus there was an additional color of tags half-off.
