| - My daughter and I drove over here on a day off from school to check out their juices and smoothies.
Located in a large parking lot with a Sears, next to a Target, a gym and a salon, House of Alchemy from the outside and along side their neighbors of very routine storefronts, juxtaposed to the inside which is a whimsical, convivial atmosphere, one might be surprised.
A wall of plants, swinging bed/bench, neon signs, wood mixed with brightly colored painted metal chairs, black and white wall illustrations and the menu displaying a wide selection of juices, smoothies and coffee choices.
I chose a green veggie drink, asked for extra ginger shot, which she seemed perplexed at first. I offered to buy the shot, but could I take a swig of the green juice, then add the shot? She offered a Himalayan salt, ginger, lemon water, but I asked for just a ginger shot, don't you have that? This is a juice place, straight up ginger is pretty standard, yes? She was very nice though and somehow found a bottle of ginger juice for me.
My daughter got a smoothie and liked it, although the lavender notes were off putting. Next time I'd remind her to omit that when ordering.
I also ordered an iced coffee, which was very good.
Service top notch and friendly to be sure, atmosphere was also quite nice. Would be a good place to meet up for coffee or a juice with a friend.
If I am ever in the neighborhood I'd def stop back in.
Bill, minus tip was $26-ish.
