Sushi Mon in Las Vegas is a must-go stop every time I'm there. But make sure you are hungry so you can make it worth your $$$. I usually make it for the dinner AYCE $26.95 (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7ibuDLfx8gEhESAufYIySw?select=9_pI9y20Kn09CRshWLU6hg) and it is truly worth every cent. The food is awesome and there are a wide range of choices. Also, take a look at the specials (some are 1 p/p). Some of my usual nigiri favs are: fresh salmon, seared ahi, yum yum scallop, snow crab meat, salmon belly (special)(http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7ibuDLfx8gEhESAufYIySw?select=4gmQ0WpBwpKHKyaLykWCYA), negitoro (special), striped jack (special), hamachi, & cajun salmon (special). I love that the fish is wrapped all the way around the little bit of rice. Hot items I like are: dynamite, shrimp tempura, hamachi kama (special) & the mussels. For dessert, get as much in your tummy as possible, it's all good! From tempura ice cream (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7ibuDLfx8gEhESAufYIySw?select=aqikDFl8ktJdqzKo1gPWaw) to mochi cream, you cannot go wrong. Try and get whatever you can finish, but don't forget you must follow the rules (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/7ibuDLfx8gEhESAufYIySw?select=S1dW_5Y-w3NYn-efOyaQEg).
The service we had at both Sushi Mon locations was awesome, but I must give props to the Maryland Pkway location because they took our # and called us when our table was ready so we could shop around the area for a little bit. We sat at the sushi bar & Chef Mike was very attentive and helpful. There's a ton of parking and the one-person-bathroom is very clean.
All in all, Sushi Mon is affordable, fun, delicious, and a winner. Banzai!
