  • I was told by a few women that breastfeeding is hard during my pregnancy especially as a first time mom. Now that my daughter is born, I realized that they were right! It's soooo fricken hard!! The first few days after she was born was the worse. I checked Yelp for a lactation consultant and found Amey. I texted her late at night around 9 or 10p and she responded and came to see me the very next day. She wasn't cheap but you can use your FSA or HSA funds to pay for her services. She spent an hour and a half getting me comfortable with breastfeeding and showed me products I can use to help me. Since then, she's sent me follow up texts to make sure I'm doing ok and when I had an issue a few days after our appointment, she got back to me right away. I'm so glad I found Amey and I highly recommend her if you need breastfeeding help.
