I was desperately in need of a hair cut....and the guy that did my hair before was too far and closed too early for me.
I found Hair Avenue online and what attracted me there was their location (Yonge and Finch) and the fact that they don't close until 10pm. I called to book an appointment and they were able to take me in the same day at 8;30 pm which was perfect for me ^___^
They asked me if I had any preference as to who cut my hair ... I didn't...and I ended up with Jason who washed and cut my hair for me (I believe he is a senior stylist there). Jason was very attentive, he asked me what kind of hair style I was looking for and asked me how much time I'm willing to dedicate to my hair everyday. I told him I was very lazy and would like to do as little as possible...he laughed and said he understood. I got my hair cut exactly the way I wanted (bangs that weren't too long or too short so I don't look that dorky) and a bit of layers so it had style but didn't need work in the morning. He didn't push products to me (guess kind of pointless on a person that doesn't do anything to her hair) and taught me little tricks that are easy to do to help make my hair look better at home.
I paid $43 plus tip.
Parking wasn't an issue for me as I just parked at the Shoppers Drug Mart parking lot :)
