First Impression:
The website is user-friendly and designed very well (after seeing many poor business websites, I can really appreciate this). There are videos on the introduction (what one can expect) as well as a brief two-minute safety video for anyone wishing to visit. The tabs at the top of the site, are as follows: attractions, parties, pricing, hours/location, gallery, safety, tickets, waiver (**TIP**: do this online, to save time). Families can choose to have a membership (*extras not included*), which seems like the best option, versus one-time use tickets. Inside the trampoline park, there is an advanced section and a "Kids 6 and under" section, and of course, in between those two levels.
Opens daily at 10 am. Located in the area of Decatur and Sahara, kitty corner from Savers (formerly an office supply store), which seems to be blossoming again with new businesses opening recently (the shopping center on Sahara, across the way, included). Lots of parking available. Spacious inside.
Large green *Happy Hour* sign is posted on the front window/ door. When you walk in, to your left is the counter to pay and get your tickets. Everyone gets wristbands (even non-participating parents). (Outside socks are not allowed. For a charge, you will use socks with grip nubs on the bottoms.) To the right of that space, along the wall, are posted signs and the place to sign your waivers (if you didn't do this already online). Opposite this space is the long cubby space area (very spacious), there is a tall one and a short one- this is where you store your socks, shoes, purses, backpacks, and outside drinks (**TIP** to the Ladies: bring your wristlet for your valuables with you, if you are not participating in the activities). Water is allowed into the area.
The rest of the floor level:
No outside food is allowed. There is a snack bar (some examples: k-cups Starbucks Americano, cup-a-noodle soup)---the attendant was smiling as we went past, a good sign. The three party bays are in this area (good size, clean areas, & picnic tables). (Pricing for parties look pretty reasonable.) TIP: Do not lean up on the walls decorated with chalk, especially, if you're wearing white! The opposite wall has two water fountains, bathrooms, and stairs leading up the VIP party bay space. Also, there is an exit from the field area for those needing bathroom breaks.
The field space:
A loudspeaker announcement is made for the color wristbands able to enter the play space (and that's how you know when your play time is up). Before entering, you must listen to the general rules, **landing on two feet** (*posted signs everywhere are a reminder*). Left side: There is a designated area for little ones 6 and under. The square foam balls are pretty firm and safe for the little jumpers. But sometimes, they might need help getting out. In the middle is the mini rock-climbing wall (only one person can jump in when it is empty) combo area, combined with another section for foam balls and trampolines. The last area is the advanced section of two squared off areas. Back wall: Ninja obstacle course- monkey bars, single level ladder steps, more foam balls, disc type, a large climbing net on the end. Right side, back: Dodgeball court (balls to use are inside). Right side, along the wall: Levels 1-5- advanced level only (coach approval required). Middle of the field, was a long series of trampolines, three lanes deep---compared to the rest, only used sporadically by the kids. I didn't see any debris in this area.
We went last night. The high energy music was loud but we could still hold conversations. Gym wear is what I observed, would be best to wear. (Wrestling shoes are allowed in the advance sections.) Our son used all the spaces, except the advanced ones. Our nephews had different favorites: the oldest liked the rock climbing wall, the middle one liked the obstacle course, and the youngest one liked it all. Our two-year-old niece liked the foam balls, but she was going back and forth between that area and the trampolines---I think she just liked jumping a lot. Our nephews were pretty sweaty and had red faces from all the activity. The black feet can be remedied with baby wipes before the kids out on their socks and shoes (*another **TIP** for mommies).
All in all, the kids had fun, and so I can firmly attest that this place is a great family attraction. The vibe is fun, once you follow the rules, safety first.
