I've been eating at Timpones for about 25 years. This is one of the best choices for fine dining in C-U. The food is always excellent. The menu is constantly changing but they always have nice fish, meat and pasta choices. Many people love their pizza. The long-time favorite appetizer is Frito Misto (usually shrimp, calamari, scallops) with a garlic aioli on top and a spicy tomato-based sauce below. Highly recommended. Desserts are always interesting and wonderful. The service varies as they do have a lot of turnover with students that come and go. But the food makes up for inconsistency in service.
