For such a luxury brand, we found the service was not up to par. It's not so much that the staff were not helpful or they have crappy merchandise...but you kinda wonder what's going on behind the counter.
This place is super busy. The floor staff are all over the place and is actually not easy to identify the staff from the customers.
We came here to exchange a gift and picked out a new bag. We were told that the bag was not in Stock at the yorkdale HR LV location. Their computer search showed that there was one at SAKS, downtown. So they put an order in for that to be transferred to yorkdale. We were told it'd probably take 7 -10 days.
2 weeks passed and we haven't heard from them. We phoned the number provided on our order sheet and was told that it was still in process. They said the bag had left the warehouse and is coming across the border from US. "warehouse? I thought it was coming from Saks?" Obviously the person on the phone had no idea what was said at the store but ensure us that it was on its way and we should hear from them in a week.
Again 2 weeks passed, no word. We phoned again and a different staff told us that the bag is at SAKs and she had no idea why it hasn't arrived at yorkdale yet she said she'd look into it.
After tracking down the first person we dealt with and expressed our displeasure, he had the bag ready for us within a few days. It was weird though that he asked us to go there when he was on duty. I don't know why other staff couldn't handle it if he just left detailed instructions? Do ppl not communicate with each other here? Are they on commission and want to guard their customers from each other or something?
His explanation was that he did order a bag but it was not in good condition so he returned it and ordered another one. This, if is true, then we really appreciate their attention to detail but couldn't someone have inform us when they know it was gonna be delayed?
Is this company so secure with their laurel (they do have good products) that they don't think customer service is important?
