  • I hate to slam any small business, but I had a horrible experience with Dykman's. If you want all the details (and a much better watch shop), see my review of Gruno's Diamonds here: https://www.yelp.com/review_share/tXH3JRvbc477016Evs_d-w/review/C7Giac1ppBNNsqoFi-Pnww?fsid=iARBIgCtd-l87z2FdhteeQ If you want the short version, here's the main points: - Dykman's charged me $60 to replace the battery and set the date on my wristwatch - they DID put a new battery in it - they did NOT set the calendar correctly, even after multiple attempts - Dykman's gave it back to me with a shrug of the shoulders - they didn't even bother to blow the dust out while the had the watch open - a more competent watch smith examined my watch and immediately saw where Dykman's repair person damaged the perpetual calendar circuit while installing the new battery - if I want this fixed, I'll have to send it to Seiko and pay $300 (plus shipping) for a watch that could be replaced for about $250 - the watch has sentimental value to me, so I'll probably pay for it... All because Dykman's repair person screwed it up. Bottom line: I'll never trust Dykman's again, because they cost me a lot of money and gave me a major headache. I would recommend Gruno's instead.
