| - Soon as you get near the restaurant, you'll see a gathering of people visiting from Hawaii. If you too are from the 808, you'll recognize a variety of menu items that are common in the islands. If you're not from the 808, some of the items may seem unfamiliar. It's comfort food from Hawaii.
The prices are reasonable. Mostly under $10, comparable to the prices in Hawaii, sometimes even less.
Ono grinds. Good Hi food. saimin, beef stew, musubi, teri beef, chicken, all the usual. If you've never been to Hawaii, this is a good introduction/representation.
Serio, it's not a slice of pineapple on a burger to make it Hawaiian, that's not how it works.
Food is consistent in taste, quality, and presentation.
