  • Mezzo is a great spot if you know what you want and you come here for pizza and wine--if you want a draft beer, you have to get it from either the first or third floor of Sienna on a separate tab--so go in knowing that. My husband was a little annoyed with this, and we ended up drinking water with our pizza and heading upstairs for after-dinner beers...a little awkward, but still fun. The food itself is really great! I have had better wood-fired pizza, but not in Pittsburgh. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the chef was creative with his combinations. I would recommend this place for date night, but we still prefer Emporio, the meatball joint downstairs!
