I had him scheduled a week ahead to unload my 17' Pod at my storage unit. He said he had two crews working that morning but they would be done by 11. I texted him the morning the Pod was delivered at 7:00 am & told him it had arrived & Pod was picking it up at 3:00 that same day. His answer - ok sounds good. At 11:00 I called him to find out when they would be coming. He said the job was taking longer than they anticipated because the move was to a 3rd floor & they probably wouldn't be done until 2:30. Well if they knew it was on the 3rd floor and that takes longer, why didn't he tell me the week before so I could schedule someone else? I said to forget it. So my husband & I went over to the Pod and we had to unload it ourselves. We are elderly & this was the most difficult thing we have ever done. If we had known he wasn't coming, we might have been able to find someone early in the morning or started doing it ourselves early when it wasn't so hot. Instead, now it is the heat of the day - 100 degrees. It took the the 2 of us until 3:00. We both felt like we had heat stroke & are lucky we didn't have to go to the hospital. Fortunately, Suzie from the storage unit (Canyon Rose Storage Unit-Gold Canyon AZ) came out & helped us for the last hour. Then a very nice gentlemen with two helpers saw that we were struggling & came over & helped us get the last pieces out that were really heavy. When we are ready to move again, I will never call this company. He said he moves all the time for Robin Rotella - a real estate agent in this area. I find that hard to believe after this experience!!
