  • Would give 0 stars if possible. Carrier air conditioner installed by Chas Roberts failed just outside Standard Pacific (CalAtlantic) builders 2year comprehensive warranty. Had a Carrier autorized agent inspect the unit and found manufacturing defect in coil that caused slow leak of coolant. Builder said to contact Chas Roberts who sent out two questionable looking kids who seemed very uneducated that spent two hours on and off phone with supervisor telling them what to do foe each move they made before they determined that nothing was wrong with the unit and said that other company drained the coolant and that was why it wasn't working, which is utter nonsense because it wasn't working before they were called. They wanted to charge me $800 to put coolant in a leaking unit! I was warned about Chas Roberts and now I know the truth - scammers!
