  • We had some visitors from San Francisco who take their great kids, 10, 12, 15 and 17 to absolutely every museum where ever they go. This is one involved family when it comes to their kids education. They and I had been to the 'old' Discovery Children's Museum near Cashman Field about 4 years ago and it was entertaining and educational for all of their kids, even the middle teens. The 'new' 3 year old DCM is really only for pre-teens and actually kids in the singe digits will love it the most. THAT age group will be absolutely enthralled from floor to floor to floor. The kids we took were 'finished' in an hour which made it an expensive visit.
