I purchaced an extended warranty on a microwave oven. When the microwave broke down they acted like they didn't have a clue of what to do, like this had never happened before. I have made several trips to there sorry excuse for a store. They told me to phone the service number. The service number then tells you to bring the appliance to the store. They make you stand around for well over half an hour with no other customers at "customer service". They try to contact the service dept. They sent me home finally and told me the service dept will contact me. Still waiting. Lord help anyone from out of town who purchases there. I talked to my salesman, he was far less friendly and was not interested in helping, not his problem (funny, he was always so friendly when my wife and I were looking at appliances). In fact it seems like everyone just passes the problem back and forth and hopes it goes away. The low ratings for the Brick in Deerfoot Meadows is accurate, buy from a store with good reviews or buy at Costco where returning defective merchandice isn't such a labourious hastle.
